Poly Vinyl Creations, Inc. – Limited Lifetime Warranty

(Covers Vinyl, Aluminum/Ornamental, Composite, and Accessory Products)

1. What Is Covered

Poly Vinyl Creations, Inc. (“PVC”) warrants to the original registered owner that all PVC-manufactured or distributed products — including vinyl, aluminum/ornamental, composite, and accessory products — are free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service conditions for the applicable warranty period.

This includes but is not limited to:

Vinyl fencing, railing, decking, pergolas, arbors, mailbox posts, planters, and garden structures
Ornamental and aluminum fencing, railing, and gates
Composite and hybrid fencing or decking systems
Hardware, caps, fasteners, solar accessories, and other accessory products purchased through authorized PVC trade contractors or supply houses.

PVC warrants that these products will not peel, flake, rot, corrode, split, crack, blister, or suffer abnormal discoloration or fading* under normal atmospheric conditions.

*Gradual and uniform fading over time due to exposure, location, or environmental factors is considered normal and not a defect.

2. Who Is Covered

Residential Purchasers: Lifetime limited warranty (non-prorated) for the original property owner and one subsequent transferee (see Section 6).
Commercial Purchasers: Twenty-five (25) year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.
Builders/Developers: When products are installed by an approved contractor and the homeowner registers within 30 days of closing, full residential coverage applies.
Trade Contractors and Supply Houses: Covered under standard product warranty for material defects only.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Acts of God or natural disasters, including hurricane, tornado, hail, flood, fire, or extreme weather events.
Improper installation, failure to follow PVC installation instructions, or use of non-approved fasteners or components.
Improper use or application, including structural, load-bearing, or containment purposes (e.g., pool barriers, livestock, guardrail, or child safety enclosures).
Damage from external heat sources, such as fire pits, grills, or reflective heat from windows and metal surfaces.
Physical impact, abuse, neglect, or vandalism.
Damage caused by pressure washing above 1,500 PSI or chemical cleaning products.
Corrosion, oxidation, or staining caused by salt, fertilizer, chemicals, or air pollution.
Normal weathering or color variation over time.
Labor, installation, removal, or reinstallation costs, except when covered under Optional Installation Coverage.
Non-PVC components or systems mixing PVC products with materials from other manufacturers.

5. Warranty Registration

This warranty is valid only if registered within 30 days of installation or material receipt by the original purchaser.

All registrations are subject to review and acceptance by PVC.

6. Transfer of Warranty

This limited warranty is transferable once for single-family residential properties within 30 days of property transfer, provided the new owner submits a transfer application with proof of original registration.
Additional transfers may be available for a processing fee.
Commercial and multi-family properties are not eligible for transfer.

7. Filing a Warranty Claim

To file a claim:

Email warrantyclaim@polyvinylc.com or mail documentation to the Hudson, FL address.
Include:
- Proof of purchase or warranty registration number
- Installation date and contractor name
- Photos showing the issue and affected area
- Description of the claimed defect

Claims must be submitted within 60 days of discovery of the issue.

PVC reserves the right to inspect the product before determining eligibility. If the product is found defective under this warranty, PVC will replace or repair the affected materials only, at its discretion.

Replacement products may differ in color, gloss, or texture due to natural weathering or product updates — such variations are not covered.

8. Optional Installation Coverage

If available at time of purchase, PVC may offer an optional installation warranty for an additional fee, valid for up to five (5) years after installation. This coverage must be purchased at registration and applies only when installation is performed by a PVC-approved contractor meeting current certification guidelines.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY POLY VINYL CREATIONS, INC. AND SUPERSEDES ALL PRIOR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY LAW, PVC DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

IN NO EVENT SHALL PVC, ITS DISTRIBUTORS, OR INSTALLERS BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY.

This warranty is valid only within the continental United States and subject to applicable state and federal law.
